Large originals can be split into smaller sections and simply joined together as a complete image on screen with perfect joins and the image can exceed the monitor display area. In each of the functions used thereafter, the image can be enlarged by a factor of the users choice, so that one section is displayed at a time. To move the image section in the required direction, simply move the input curser to the edge of the screen.
